SWIFT Connectivity

Actuare offers a number of methods to connect to SWIFT for various kinds of message and file transfer.

Connection Methods

The following methods of connection to SWIFT are supported:

  • Directly using your own connection or a shared connection
  • Via an authorised service bureau or member concentrator
  • Using Alliance Lite

Directly using Your Own Connection or a Shared Connection

Actuare has many years of experience of interfacing to SWIFTNet and supports a number of SWIFT and third party interface systems. For example,

  • Alliance Access/Entry
  • Alliance Gateway
  • Sterci GTExchange
  • IBM WBI-FN

Via an Authorised Service Bureau or Member Concentrator

Actuare can provide connectivity via your chosen service bureau or member concentrator.

Using Alliance Lite

Actuare can provide connectivity using Alliance Lite AutoClient and with mapping if necessary to/from SWIFT's CSV record layouts.

Kinds of Message and File Transfer

The following kinds of message and file transfer are supported:

ISO 20022 and MX Messaging

Actuare supports the exchange of ISO 20022 and SWIFT proprietary XML (MX) messages for SWIFTNet InterAct.

File Transfer

Actuare supports the transfer of files for SWIFTNet FileAct.

ISO 15022 and FIN Messaging

Actuare supports the exchange of ISO 15022 and other legacy SWIFT FIN (MT) messages for SWIFTnet FIN.

Actuare has now discontinued its CAS API product which provided direct interfacing of applications to Alliance Access using the CAS protocol or interception or adaption of such communication.
